NYC Midnight Short Screenplay Challenge
The Short Screenplay Challenge is a competition in which writers are given 48 hours to write and submit a short screenplay.
For each round, a prompt (genre, location, object) was sent at 11:59pm on Friday and a final screenplay was due by 11:59pm Sunday. The tournament consists of four competitive rounds with four separate prompts.
I won 1st place in the competition from a field of about 1,000 writers.
Final Round: "Off to Avalon"
LOGLINE: Facing a bleak future on their planet, a mother and daughter resort to selling and shipping their personal memories to afford a flight to the refuge of Avalon.
